actinoutloud: Sherlock’s look is pretty crafty and calculating here. I think this is one of the few moments he let his act slip and showed that he was still in control, to an extent anyway. I mean, he still had to end up fake killing himself, but he was prepared, and Moriarty didn’t know that. Sherlock’s tears later were real, but you know somewhere in there, the logical and detached part of him was always present, always thinking, always observing.
